PRP — Full Face

Medical-grade platelet-rich plasma, prepared with a double centrifuge protocol for superior growth factor concentration — delivered with precision and comfort across the full face.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) facial treatment uses the patient's own blood to produce a highly concentrated preparation of platelets and the growth factors they contain. When delivered into the skin, these growth factors stimulate fibroblast activity, promote collagen and elastin synthesis, improve microvascularisation, and support skin cell renewal — producing genuine structural improvements to skin quality rather than a surface-level effect.

PRP works with your skin's own biology — triggering the same healing and regeneration pathways that produce collagen, elastin, and new blood vessels. The result is improved skin quality at a structural level.

What PRP can improve

PRP facial treatment addresses a wide range of skin quality concerns driven by ageing, sun exposure, and reduced dermal collagen density. Clinical evidence supports its use for:

  • Fine lines and early wrinkle formation
  • Skin texture irregularities and enlarged pores
  • Uneven skin tone and dullness
  • Loss of skin firmness and elasticity
  • Under-eye hollowing and periorbital skin quality
  • Post-acne scarring and skin surface irregularities
  • General skin radiance and hydration

Our double centrifuge advantage

The quality of PRP is determined almost entirely by the preparation method. A single-spin centrifugation — the approach used by most providers — yields a basic platelet concentration that represents only a modest increase over whole blood. Our protocol uses a two-stage double centrifuge process, which produces a platelet yield approximately 300% greater than single-spin methods.

This matters because the therapeutic effect of PRP is directly proportional to the concentration of growth factors delivered. A preparation with three times the platelet density means three times the growth factor payload at the treatment site — a clinically meaningful difference in outcome.

LP-PRP — the right preparation for skin

Not all PRP is equivalent. The leucocyte (white blood cell) content of a preparation significantly affects how skin tissue responds to it. Leucocyte-Rich PRP (LR-PRP) introduces a pro-inflammatory cytokine profile that can be counterproductive in delicate facial skin, causing unnecessary irritation and extending downtime.

Our double centrifuge protocol produces Leucocyte-Poor PRP (LP-PRP) — a preparation with high platelet concentration and reduced leucocyte content. LP-PRP delivers the growth factor benefits without the inflammatory burden, making it better tolerated and producing a cleaner tissue response.

Key growth factors and their role in skin

  • PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor) — stimulates fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis
  • TGF-β (Transforming Growth Factor Beta) — promotes extracellular matrix production and tissue remodelling
  • VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) — supports formation of new blood vessels and improved skin perfusion
  • EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) — promotes keratinocyte proliferation and epidermal renewal
  • IGF-1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1) — supports dermal fibroblast activity and collagen turnover
  • bFGF (Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor) — involved in skin repair and elastin production

Comfort and precision

A topical local anaesthetic is applied to the full face prior to treatment, ensuring the procedure is well tolerated throughout. Injections are performed using ultra-fine, ultra-sharp needles — selected specifically for their precision in facial tissue and their contribution to minimising discomfort and bruising. The combination of thorough anaesthesia and refined technique means most patients find the procedure significantly more comfortable than they anticipated.

The treatment process

A blood draw of approximately 60–100 mL is taken via cannulation and processed through our double centrifuge protocol to produce the LP-PRP preparation. Local anaesthetic is then applied and allowed adequate time to take effect. The PRP is delivered across the full face using a series of precise microinjections, targeting areas of skin laxity, fine lines, and texture concern. The entire session takes approximately 45–55 minutes.

Treatment details

Protocol

3 sessions initially

An initial course of three treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance sessions every 3–6 months depending on response and skin goals.

Downtime

Minimal

Mild redness and occasional pinpoint bruising for 24–48 hours. Most patients return to normal activities the same day. Sun protection is recommended for 48 hours post-treatment.

Onset

4–6 weeks

Initial improvements in skin glow and texture are often visible within 2–4 weeks. Structural collagen improvements continue to develop over 3–6 months following a course of treatment.

Pricing

$350

Full-face treatment, all-inclusive. Covers cannulation, blood draw, PRP preparation, anaesthetic, and the full injection procedure.

Is PRP right for you?

PRP facial treatment is well-suited to patients looking for genuine, progressive improvement in skin quality without synthetic fillers or toxins. It works particularly well for patients in their 30s to 60s who are noticing changes in skin texture, fine lines, or overall radiance. It can be performed as a standalone treatment or combined with anti-wrinkle injections for a more comprehensive outcome.

A medical consultation is conducted before any treatment to assess your skin, discuss your goals, and confirm suitability. Please let us know if you are on any anti-platelet or blood-thinning medications, as this may affect treatment planning.

PRP treatment uses the patient's own blood products and is performed by a registered medical practitioner following individual assessment. Results vary between patients. This page does not constitute medical advice.
